NCWQA Drinking Water Committee
The purpose of this Committee is to identify and understand key water supply, production, protection, and distribution issues and to advocate with state and federal regulators for regulatory requirements which are based on sound science, public safety, and economic practicability. There are numerous initiatives at the federal, state, and local level with implications for public water suppliers. From this list, the Committee elected to focus on making an impact on a handful of these priority issues. In turn, the Committee aims to serve as a sounding board for the Public Water Supply Section officials to engage with regarding new developments.
